Barclays Bank are announced as the silver sponsors for Arable NI 2026 event.

Arabale NI 2026 is an exciting new on farm event jointly organised by the College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), the Ulster Arable Society and the Ulster Farmers’ Union.

Hosted on a working farm, the event is designed to support and showcase Northern Ireland’s arable sector. It will bring together farmers, agronomists, researchers, agritech innovators, contractors, input suppliers, and industry partners for a day of field demonstrations, knowledge sharing, and hands on learning.
UFU senior policy officer Patricia Erwin, on behalf of the event organising committee, said, “We are pleased to welcome Barclays Bank onboard as a silver sponsor for a new and exciting event in the arable diary – Arable NI 2026.

“Their commitment to Northern Ireland’s agri sector and dedication to strengthening and investing in the future of local agriculture makes them fitting sponsors alongside headline sponsor Fane Valley.”

Richard Primrose, Barclays agricultural relationship manager, said, “Barclays Agri-team NI is delighted to sponsor Arable NI 2026. Agriculture is a cornerstone of the Northern Ireland economy, not only providing essential jobs but also fostering the rural community. At Barclays, we have a long history supporting agriculture and we are committed to enhancing this vital sector through partnerships like this, playing our role in the sector’s continued growth.”
