UFU poultry reps meet Tesco

Ulster Farmers' Union poultry committee vice chairman Martyn Blair and UFU poultry policy officer Dr Geoff Thompson have met with Tesco's UK and ROI Agriculture manager for poultry and eggs, John Kirkpatrick, to discuss a number of key issues including: the impact on producers following the retailers decision to move towards cage free egg production; the impact of brexit on the industry; responsible antibiotic usage; and the rise in avian flu cases in Europe.
