UFU MPI: 40.86 (was 41.83), the New Zealand GDT event finished down 0.5% on the previous. Butter, cheddar and skimmed milk powder were all up. Butter was up 2.7% to $7,577, cheddar was up 1.1% to $4,915, and skimmed milk powder was up 0.6% to $2,744. Whole milk powder was back 2.2% to $4,061 from $4,153.
On the Dutch (ZuivelNL) market, fresh butter was up €220/T to €7,230. Whole milk powder and whey remained stable at €4,300/T and €910/T respectively. Both skimmed milk powder (food) and skimmed milk powder (feed) were down. Skimmed milk powder (food) was down €20/T to finish at €2,470, and skimmed milk powder (feed) was down €10/T to €2,460.
