UFU MPI: 34.99 (was 34.62ppl) – The New Zealand GDT event this week finished up 3.3%, with all commodities reporting gains apart from cheddar which saw no change. Whole and skimmed milk powders were up 2.9% and 3.5% respectively, with a 5.1% increase for butter. Gains were echoed on the Dutch (ZuivelNL) market reporting this week, with all commodities finishing upward. Butter was up €430/tonne to €6480/tonne, whole and skimmed milk powders both up €50/tonne and whey finishing up €10/tonne.
