UFU MPI: 34.62 (was 34.56ppl) – The New Zealand GDT event this week reported a gain of 1.8%. At the last event, cheddar was down 8.4%, but there was a change of sentiment this week, where it finished up 8.0%. There were moderate gains for powders, with whole and skimmed milk powders up 2.4% and 0.4% respectively. On the Dutch (ZuivelNL) market, all commodities remained unchanged, however there was an increase of €20/tonne for butter, finishing at €5890/tonne this week.
