UFU MPI: 35.53ppl (was 35.44ppl) – 2024 started with the GDT index in New Zealand rising 1.2% to $3,363 and whole milk powder up 2.5% to €3,290/tonne. DDB/ZuivelNL in the Netherlands, whilst trade is still quiet due to the holidays, saw butter up €20/tonne to €5,500 and skimmed milk powder (food grade) up €10 to €2550/tonne.
