UFU MPI: 32.68ppl (was 32.53ppl) – Majority of dairy commodity prices continue to recover. GDT in New Zealand increased 4.5%, the fourth consecutive rise. Dutch Dairy Board (ZuivelNL) saw all traded products increase for the third consecutive weeks, butter up €100/tonne to €4880, WMP up €70 to €3450/tonne, SMP (food grade) up €60/tonne to €2520 and whey powder up €40 to €790/tonne. However, any sustained recovery tempered by fall in cheddar cheese with UK prices around £3200/tonne and Irish prices lower still.
