The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) is hosting a hustings event for members on Monday 17 June, at the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown, 8pm. The hustings event will launch the UFU manifesto for the 2024 general election and outline its key ‘asks’ of the next UK government.
UFU members are invited to attend and hear local politicians’ vision for farmers and the rural community over the next five years in Westminster. This is an opportunity for members to make their voice heard, and pose questions to representatives from Sinn Féin, Democratic Unionist Party, Alliance, Ulster Unionist Party and Social Democratic and Labour Party.
