Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend, one of Northern Ireland’s largest free awareness initiatives, will take place over Father’s Day Weekend, Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June 2024.

Organised by the Ulster Farmers’ Union, with Bank of Ireland returning as title sponsor, it primarily aims to help the public, particularly those from a non-farming background, better understand how our food is produced and to raise awareness of the importance of the local supply chain. This year’s event will also shine a spotlight on crucial issues such as food poverty, sustainability, and farm safety.

Farms participating in Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend either on the Friday Schools’ Day and/on the Saturday and Sunday public days include:

Armagh Apple Farm, Portadown | Ballylagan Organic Farm, Ballyclare | Beatties Glenpark Farm, Omagh | Bessvale Farm, Upper Ballinderry | Brook Hall Estate & Gardens, Derry | Broughgammon Farm, Ballycastle | Bullsbrook, Dromore | CAFRE Greenmount | CAFRE Enniskillen | Churchview Farm, Castlewellen | Donagh Cottage Farm, Donaghcloney | Jubilee Farm, Larne | Laurel View Farm, Templepatrick | Lislagan Farm, Ballymoney.
