The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) is attending the Balmoral Show 2022 and will have a stand at the event where the office bearer team, supported by other staff members, will be present for the four days.
UFU president David Brown said, “The Balmoral Show is one of the most anticipated events in NI for farming families and the general public. It’s a great opportunity to showcase the high-quality food we produce to world leading standards and to engage directly with consumers.
“We are delighted by a return to our normal spring Balmoral Show and are looking forward to attending the event and meeting our members. The show provides an enjoyable day of socialising for farming families, allowing them to get away from the farm for a short while and they can speak directly to us about agri issues they’re experiencing.”
The UFU stand will also have a children’s zone where there will be plenty of fun and interactive activities on offer, such as milking the cow and jigsaw puzzles.
There will also be tea, coffee and sweet treats available for UFU members that visit the stand (B1 on 1st Avenue), along with a chance to win a fabulous hamper full of local produce.
