A good farm dog is worth its weight in gold for more reason than one. For this special edition of the Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) snap Sunday competition, we’re putting the spotlight on our beloved four-legged companions.
Examples of photo entries could be your dog working the sheep, walking the hill by your side, bringing in the cows, travelling with you in the jeep or perhaps, providing some company at teatime. Our dogs are masters of many trades.
We encourage every farmer (members and non-members) across Northern Ireland to send in an image for this special Snap Sunday theme and the winner will receive a UFU soft shell jacket.
You can send your image(s) by WhatsApp to either Tracey Donaghey (07917 872 328) or Lynsay Hawkes (07917 417 475) with the words #SnapSunday. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 7 June.
The entries will be shortlisted and the final four will be posted on Facebook. We will ask you to pick the winner by casting your vote in the comments section. The winning entry will be announced online.
