Farmsafe Awareness

FarmSafe Awareness events offer practical demonstrations covering the everyday hazards faced by farmers and farming families.

Topics covered will include: Working at Height; Slurry Risks; Handling Livestock; and Working with Machinery.  FarmSafe Awareness is open to farmers and farm families aged 17 and over. Attendance is free of charge and events will run throughout Northern Ireland within established Focus Farms and community venues.

FarmSafeNet

FarmSafeNet is the online learning tool for farmers and members of the farm family.  It is designed to raise awareness about farm safety and is part of a suite of activities developed by the industry led Farm Safety Partnership.

To access FarmSafeNet simply go online at www.farmsafenet.org, view the videos, read the resources available and complete the quiz.  On completion of the quiz you will receive a certificate containing a unique reference number which you will be advised to retain for future reference.

You will be able to use this as evidence to support your committment to farm safety when accessing future DARD services or schemes.
