Peter Brown is a solicitor with Martin King French & Ingram LLP in Limavady in Northern Ireland and has been the Northern Ireland Regional Organiser of ALA since the branch was formed in 2016 and was coopted onto the ALA Council shortly afterwards. A member of the Department of Agriculture Environment & Rural Affairs (DAERA) Independent Review Panel from 2012 -2022 he has represented ALA on the DAERA Generational Renewal Workstream Committee seeking views on the Departmental policy and developing a pilot Generational Renewal programme and has more recently been appointed to the Co Design sub-group to discuss and provide views on the learning outcomes from the pilot and consider areas for improvement prior to the launch of the full Farming for the Generations Scheme in 2026.
