The Ulster Farmers’ Union is supporting the Mission: Farm Strong initiative, which will be visiting livestock mart locations across Northern Ireland throughout February.
These awareness events are for all members of the farming community, to encourage them to carefully consider their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
The campaign is supported by a wide partnership of organisations including the Rural Chaplaincy, Farm Families Health Checks, the Health & Safety Executive for Northern Ireland, the Ulster Farmers’ Union, the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster and the Northern Ireland Agri-Rural Health Forum. This year’s chosen charity is Rural Support.
