Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend schools’ competition 2022

The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) in partnership with Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend (BOIOFW) and competition sponsor Asda, are challenging pupils across Northern Ireland (NI) to “Dig in!” and put their creative skills to the test in celebration of the eleventh Open Farm Weekend event. This year’s theme is “Dig in! to food, farming and the environment.”

The theme has been chosen to help the UFU promote the ‘Dig in!’ resource as the UFU joined forces with Agri Aware to help primary school children understand what happens on farms. Nursery, primary and special schools are asked to put their creative skills to the test and take part in our exciting competition that Asda have kindly agreed to sponsor.

Closing date for entries is Friday 29 April 2022.
