UFU MPI: 35.18ppl (was 35.43ppl) – New Zealand saw its GDT all product index weakening this week down 2.3%, led largely by a fall in milk powders despite a 4% increase in cheddar. Sentiment on the European market was mixed, with Dutch (ZuivelNL) butter up €50/tonne to €5950, whole milk powder stable remaining at €3650 and both skimmed milk and whey powders down €20/tonne.
