UFU milk price index (MPI): 30.88ppl (was 30.58ppl) – GDT in New Zealand this week saw the first increase since 2 May 2023 with the all-price index up 2.7% with an average selling price of $2,888 per tonne. A total of 37,729 tonnes of dairy products were sold at the latest auction, up 12.4% from the previous event three weeks ago, with sales from Oceania and Middle East at the fore. ZuivelNL (Dutch Dairy Board) saw increases for butter, up by €30/t to €4350 and for whey up €30 to €600/tonne.
