UFU MPI: 30.58ppl (was 31.56ppl) – 30.58ppl (was 31.56ppl) – GDT in New Zealand back 7.4% on the back of increased volumes for sale, being unmatched by any demand meant this fall was predicted by forecasters. Negative sentiments in Europe on the back very subdued demand for dairy products. Butter slipped €30/tonne to €4370 and WMP back €100 to €3220/tonne in Dutch trading. Industry looking for demand to recover once traders return from their summer holidays.
