The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) has welcomed Transfer Lab as its newest Silver Corporate Member, strengthening an existing relationship with the company following its move from UFU affinity partner to corporate membership.
Based in Newry, Transfer Lab provides international money transfer and foreign exchange services, supporting individuals and businesses making payments between the UK and Europe. The company offers online currency transfers, including GBP and EUR payments, alongside support from its local team.
UFU corporate sales executive Craig Scott said, “We are delighted to welcome Transfer Lab as a UFU Silver Corporate Member, building on the relationship already established through our affinity partnership.
“Their expertise in international payments and currency exchange will provide valuable support for our members, particularly those making cross-border payments and trading with businesses in the Republic of Ireland. We look forward to continuing to work with the Transfer Lab team and developing the relationship through their corporate membership.”
Colum Gildea, director of Transfer Lab, said, “We’re delighted to join the Ulster Farmers’ Union as a Silver Corporate Member. Farming families have been coming to us in Newry since 1992, and many trade across the border every week, whether that’s machinery, livestock or feed.
“Currency movements can have a real impact on margins, so through Transfer Lab we want to help members make those payments simpler, more secure and better value, with a local team who understand the industry.”
