UFU MPI: 36.12 (was 35.31). This week’s New Zealand GDT finished down (-1.1%) for the first time since 7th July, on the previous trading event. Whole milk powder dropped 0.8% ($3,565) while skimmed milk powder finished up 0.1% ($3,689). Cheddar saw a significant increase of 16.5% ($4,075) while butter finished down 5.7% to $4,760.
On the Dutch (ZuivelNL) market this week, there were mixed results across commodities. Whole milk powder remained stable at €3,870/t while there was an increase for skimmed milk powder of €30/t to finish at €3,300. Butter finished down €50/t finishing at €4,050 while whey powder remained stable at €1,680.
