Emerald Urgent Care has become a Platinum Corporate Member of the Ulster Farmers’ Union, strengthening its commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of farmers and rural communities across Northern Ireland.
Through the partnership, UFU members will learn more about Emerald Urgent Care’s network of independent urgent treatment centres and its Virtual Clinic, which provide access to experienced clinicians for urgent but non-emergency health concerns.
With clinics in Belfast, Enniskillen and Derry/Londonderry, Emerald Urgent Care offers walk-in and same-day appointments, alongside consultations by phone or video. Following an assessment, patients can receive a diagnosis and, where appropriate, have a prescription sent to their local pharmacy.
Emerald Urgent Care is designed to bridge the gap between general practice and hospital emergency care. Its clinicians treat a range of conditions, including infections, minor cuts and wounds, sprains and strains, minor burns, allergic reactions, insect or animal bites, minor eye injuries, respiratory illnesses and fevers.
Jonny Davies, Managing Director of Emerald Urgent Care, said, “Farmers work long and often unpredictable hours, so stepping away from the farm to attend a medical appointment is not always easy.
“Our aim is to offer another practical route to care. Farmers can visit one of our clinics or speak to a clinician remotely, helping them access professional advice and treatment without unnecessary delay.

Emerald Urgent Care opened its first clinic in Belfast in 2025 before expanding to Enniskillen and Derry/Londonderry. The company plans to continue growing its network of independent urgent treatment centres further across Northern Ireland.
