The New Zealand Global Dairy Trade (GDT) event finished down 2.7% overall on the previous. Butter and whole milk powder were down, whilst cheddar and skimmed milk powder were up. Butter was down 7.9% to finish at $5,702. Whole milk powder was down 0.6% to finish at $3,666. Cheddar finished at $4,798 up 1.1% on the previous and skimmed powder finished at $3,448 up 3.2% on the previous.
On the Dutch (ZuivelNL) Market fresh butter was down, skimmed milk powder (food) was up, whilst whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder (feed) and whey powder all remained stable. Fresh Butter was down €100/T from €4,100/T to €4,000/T. Skimmed milk powder (food) was up €30/T to finish at €2,730/T. Whole milk powder remained stable at €3,300/T, skimmed milk powder (feed) remained stable at €2,580/T and whey powder remained stable at €1,460/T
