The Ulster Farmers’ Union is delighted to have Barclays Bank on board as its newest corporate member. Barclays Bank supports farm businesses through dedicated agricultural managers and tailored financial products. It offers farming loans to help with cash flow, equipment, livestock or diversification, and provides green and transition finance to support sustainability and environmental projects. Barclays also helps farmers explore new income streams like biodiversity and carbon markets and supports innovation in agri-tech.

UFU corporate sales executive Craig Scott said, “We are pleased to welcome Barclays as the newest addition to our corporate membership. Their commitment to Northern Ireland’s agri sector and support for our members reflects their dedication to strengthening and investing in the future of local agriculture. We look forward to developing a strong partnership with their Northern Ireland agri team in the months and years ahead.”

Richard Primrose, Barclays agriculture business manager said, “The Barclays agriculture team in Northern Ireland is delighted to announce our new status as corporate members of the UFU. Agriculture is a cornerstone of the Northern Ireland economy, not only providing essential jobs but also fostering the rural community. At Barclays, we are committed to supporting this vital sector through partnerships like this.”
