JOB VACANCY: Policy Officer
DESCRIPTION
The Ulster Farmers Union is seeking to recruit a Policy Officer based out of our Head Office in Belfast. This will be a challenging and wide ranging job working as part of the UFU Policy Team.
The job involves assisting with;
- The development of Union Policy
- The servicing of Union Central Committees
- Representing the views of the Union across a range of media
- The lobbying process
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience;
- Have a third level qualification in a relevant subject
- Have a good knowledge of or interest in Northern Ireland Agriculture
- Have good communication skills
- Be computer literate
- Be willing to work hard, be ambitious and a good team member
- Hold a driving licence
Salary
The Salary scale for this full time permanent position is £37,070 – £43,613.
