VI at Cereals 2014
UFU Senior Policy Officer Patricia Erwin joined Voluntary Initiative Colleagues on the Voluntary Initiative (VI) stand at Cereals 2014. The VI is an industry-led partnership that works with government, regulators and stakeholders to promote the responsible use of agricultural pesticides. Through its national groups, the VI provides a UK wide framework for promoting best practice at a local scale. The VI focused on promoting their new campaign ‘Watch Out! for illegal pesticides’ . Guy Smith NFU Vice-President visited the stand to discuss measures being taken by the NFU to safeguard the crop protection toolbox.
