UFU Deputy President and CEO meet key Brexit Minister

UFU meet key Brexit Minister – Ulster Farmers’ Union deputy president Ivor Ferguson (left) and UFU chief executive Wesley Aston (right) have met with the Minister of State for Exiting the European Union the Rt Hon David Jones MP (middle). Speaking after the meeting Ivor Ferguson said, “We took the opportunity to explain the UFU’s key principles of support for agriculture and trade in relation to the UK exiting the EU and the Minster was very receptive to what we had to say. He has asked us to elaborate further on our principles and we expect to meet again with the Minister in September.” The meeting took place during the UFU’s visit to the Royal Welsh Show.
