UFU Watch
This week UFU Seeds and Cereals Vice Chairman Gerald Erwin and UFU Senior Policy Officer Patricia Erwin attended Cereals 2013, the leading technical event for the UK arable industry. With over 64ha of stands and live demonstrations including Crop Plots, Working Cultivations, Sprays and Sprayers, Post-Harvest Technology, Business Area, Potatoes and Renewables this event had something for everyone.
Cereals 2013 was a great opportunity for the UFU to discuss matters such as CAP Reform, the market place, the latest technology available and finance. The UFU team met up with HGCA and AFBI on their stand to discuss the cereal market in more detail and even attended the Arable Conference were 20 panellists debated a number topical issues with the audience.
