Build your skills with the UFU training division
Monday, 2 July, 2018
The UFU launched its in house training division earlier this year. Currently, four courses are being piloted - safe use of pesticides, boom sprayer, hand-held applicator and rodent control on farm, across Northern Ireland. UFU members save up to 20 per cent when they book a course through the UFU training division.
UFU president Ivor Ferguson says, “We got a clear steer from our membership. They were frustrated that often there were long wait-lists or they had to travel long distances to access training. We teamed up with CSL and Lantra approved trainers to help address this and make it easier for our members to get the training they need for their business. With 20 per cent off, it adds fantastic value to their membership.”
UFU member Ivan Anderson, from the Mid Antrim Group, recently completed the Boom Sprayer course said, “I found it very useful and hands on and the trainer took the time to explain things in detail. I chose to book the course through the UFU training division because the trainers are Lantra approved.”
