Excitement builds in the run up to Balmoral Show
With the 2014 Balmoral Show now only two weeks away, excitement is building as the UFU prepares for its second year at the new show grounds. The UFU and NFU Mutual will be at stand B5 this year, right beside the Food NI tent.
UFU President Ian Marshall said; “The Balmoral show has always been one of the definite highlights of the agricultural calendar and this year’s show will definitely not disappoint. Deputy President’s Barclay Bell, Ivor Ferguson and I will be on the UFU Stand throughout the show to discuss issues face-to-face with as many members and their families as possible. CAP reform will undoubtedly dominate discussions as we try to reach an agreement workable for Northern Ireland. Other concerns affecting individual sectors will also be discussed.”
The Union would also like to remind members that they can purchase discounted Balmoral Show tickets from their local group office and UFU headquarters.
